About Juliet

The Juliet Passive House will be a 3-story, multi-unit residential building with an ADU on the first floor and main house on the second story boasting access to a rooftop patio with views of the surrounding Ashland hills.

The Juliet is officially Phius Design Certified! With this certification we are setting up the project to ensure we hit all the energy targets outlined by Phius’ climate-specific, cost-optimized standard. Next, we’ll undergo third-party quality assurance inspections throughout construction with the goal of earning full Phius Certification when completed.

SGB worked with STUDIO.e Architecture on this Passive House design. Why the name Juliet? Nearby Ashland, OR is home to the Oregon Shakespeare Festival, a nationally recognized theatre company drawing visitors from the west coast and beyond for their prestigious renditions of traditional Shakespeare plays. With OSF’s production building located down the street, the Juliet draws on the local cultural influence on the community-centric town of Talent, OR.
